About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team at BitMEX. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our platform, ensuring low latency, deep liquidity, and maximum availability for our users.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust software solutions for our trading platform, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience.
• Optimize existing systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce latency in trading operations.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on web technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of security best practices in software development.
• Experience working in the cryptocurrency or financial technology sector is a plus.
