About the Role
We're hiring a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative team at Ping Identity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our cloud identity platform, ensuring that our services are secure, reliable, and efficient. As a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to deliver seamless digital experiences for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for our cloud-based services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of our applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal service reliability.
- Develop automation tools to streamline deployment and operational processes.
- Participate in incident response and postmortem analysis to improve system resilience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in best practices for site reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
