Remote Senior Account Executive - Cloud Services

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Caylent. As a leader in cloud native services, we empower organizations to maximize their potential through Amazon Web Services (AWS). This Remote Senior Account Executive role is pivotal in driving our sales strategy and expanding our client base across North America and Latin America.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with SME prospects through cold calls, emails, social media, and in-person meetings to establish meaningful connections.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with AWS and clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive net new customer acquisition while scaling our existing client base through innovative outreach strategies.
  • Design, build, and test new outreach and nurture campaigns to enhance lead generation.
  • Collaborate closely with content, marketing, and lead generation teams to create impactful sales strategies.
  • Drive revenue by winning new services business and expanding existing engagements.
  • Participate in cloud workshops and training to enhance your skills and pursue relevant certifications in cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
  • Engage with AWS and other partners at both tactical and strategic levels to leverage opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, particularly in selling managed cloud services and/or DevOps consulting.
  • Experience selling AWS and related services is highly desired.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively convey our value proposition.
  • Ability to assist in creating proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Proficient in negotiating contracts, deliverables, and pricing.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and the ability to be cross-functional.
  • A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies to succeed both individually and as part of a team.
  • A proven track record of sourcing and closing deals worth $250K+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time as needed.
  • A technical background in DevOps or Cloud is preferred.

  • Experience with cloud security and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Prior experience in a fully remote work environment.
