About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Quality Engineer to join our innovative team at Magnera. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. As a Remote Quality Engineer, you will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective testing strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects using our issue tracking system.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
