Insurance Manager - Remote Opportunity at ECCO

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to join ECCO in a remote capacity. In this role, you will drive our global insurance program, ensuring effective risk transfer and governance. As an Insurance Manager, you will be the main link to brokers and insurers, playing a central role in renewals, claims, and governance. Your expertise will strengthen ECCO’s financial resilience and support senior decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Drive ECCO’s global insurance program, focusing on coverage and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage the Danish commercial insurance program, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Oversee the annual renewal cycle, including exposure collection and market engagement.
• Lead claims management and recovery processes across relevant lines.
• Act as a central partner to Finance, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, HR, and regional stakeholders.
• Deliver executive-level insights on premiums, claims, and coverage gaps.
• Contribute to the development of ECCO’s risk-transfer strategy.
• Continuously improve insurance-related processes and total cost of risk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate insurance, risk transfer, or brokerage.
• Proven experience managing global insurance programs and renewals.
• Hands-on claims management experience.
• Solid understanding of corporate lines such as Property, Liability, Cyber, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Relevant degree or certification in Insurance, Finance, or Risk Management.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI tools and data analysis.
• Certification such as RIMS or RIMAP.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
