Market Data Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join Qube Research & Technologies as a Market Data Analyst in a remote capacity. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading global quantitative investment manager, where you will support the effective delivery and governance of market data across the organization. As a Market Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Manage market data contracts and maintain accurate, up-to-date records within the inventory database, including pricing and usernames.
• Lead vendor relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for external suppliers and resolving day-to-day queries.
• Support regulatory requirements, including month-end reporting and exchange-related obligations.
• Monitor exchange notifications, assess required actions, and ensure systems and records are updated accordingly.
• Support and enhance tooling used by the Market Data team to improve efficiency and controls.
• Contribute to a broad range of market data projects as required.
• Maintain organized records of current and historical contracts, ensuring clear linkage to pricing, user banding limits, and related data.
• Prepare audit materials and ensure accurate, timely processing and reconciliation of market data invoices in line with the procurement cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years equivalent exchange data experience, with exposure to exchanges and market data vendors (e.g., LSE, NYSE, Nasdaq, Bloomberg, LSEG).
• Familiarity with permissioning systems (e.g., DACS, EMRS) and workflow tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of reference, market, and index data, including non-display usage.
• Ability to interpret contracts and present key information clearly.
• Detail-oriented, with experience maintaining accurate records in inventory or procurement systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to build effective stakeholder and vendor relationships.
