Remote Purchasing Agent - ECommerce & Supply Chain Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Purchasing Agent to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Purchasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor negotiations, supply chain logistics, and order fulfillment processes. This position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to our ECommerce operations and ensuring that our product management processes run smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms for our purchasing needs.
• Manage supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Utilize ERP systems such as NetSuite and SAP for efficient order management and data tracking.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill sales orders and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier communications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status and product availability.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role within ECommerce or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite and Suite Script 2.X.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Hubspot.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.

Nice to Have

• Experience in claims management and logistics.
• Knowledge of freight and shipping processes.
• Previous experience in data management and analysis.
