Remote Principal Product Manager - Health Insurance

About the Role

We’re hiring a Remote Principal Product Manager to lead our Health Insurance business at PolicyMe. This role is pivotal as we aim to modernize the insurance industry, which is a $1T market that has remained largely untouched by the digital revolution. As a remote-first, Toronto-based startup, we are looking for a product leader who can help us build the future of insurance in Canada and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Define and own the product vision for our health insurance vertical, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer insights.
• Establish OKRs that guide your team towards achieving long-term goals.
• Drive end-to-end execution, from problem definition and discovery to solution design and launch.
• Collaborate closely with Product Design to create best-in-class customer experiences.
• Write clear, actionable product specifications that connect business goals with customer needs.
• Partner with engineering management to ensure initiatives are well-scoped and resilient.
• Coordinate go-to-market strategies with Growth, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
• Define success metrics and measurement plans for each initiative, analyzing performance to inform future steps.

Requirements

• 8+ years of extensive product management experience, particularly in D2C digital products.
• Proven track record of success in growing digital products and building exceptional user experiences.
• Experience in fintech or insurtech is a plus but not required.
• Strong business acumen, understanding how product connects to revenue and operations.
• Data-driven decision-maker with proficiency in OKRs, KPIs, and experimentation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of tailoring messages to various stakeholders.
• High emotional intelligence with a collaborative leadership style.
• Commitment to building a diverse and inclusive team culture.
