About the Role

CORE Community Organized Relief Effort is seeking dedicated individuals for the Remote Medical Team Member position within our humanitarian response roster. This role is critical in providing essential support during natural disasters, public health emergencies, and various crisis situations across the United States. As a Remote Medical Team Member, you will deploy across the country as part of a dynamic emergency response team, making a significant impact in the lives of those affected.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct health assessments for individuals impacted by emergencies.
  • Provide emergency care as necessary, ensuring the health and safety of those in crisis.
  • Document health information, interventions, and conditions of individuals treated during deployments.
  • Perform wellness checks on individuals in disaster-affected areas to ensure their well-being.
  • Analyze health data collected during deployments to improve future response efforts.
  • Engage in safeguarding practices to protect vulnerable individuals and communities.
  • Collaborate with local governments and community organizations to enhance response efforts.
  • Participate in the distribution of essential items and relief supplies to those in need.

Requirements

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification or higher is required.
  • Active National Registry - NREMT (for EMS professionals only).
  • Active state licensure for nurses, physician assistants, or physicians.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Driver’s License with no significant infractions in the last 5 years.
  • No history of clinical certification or licensure censure.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare is essential.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in emergency response or disaster relief.
  • Knowledge of public health protocols and emergency care practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
