What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of technical writers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality documentation.
• Develop and implement documentation standards and best practices to enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and create comprehensive documentation for software products.
• Utilize tools such as Markdown, GitHub, and Confluence to manage documentation projects effectively.
• Analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve documentation quality and relevance.
• Coordinate with project managers to align documentation efforts with product development timelines.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the technical writing team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance documentation strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown, GitHub, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and APIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive documentation improvements.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and C++ is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote team effectively.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
