Remote Lending Application Scrum Master

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Lending Application Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the agile transformation of our lending application processes, ensuring efficient project management and delivery. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate scrum ceremonies, coach teams on agile methodologies, and work closely with stakeholders to enhance our mortgage origination systems.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
• Coach team members on agile principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners to define project scope and prioritize backlog items effectively.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing insights to stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that hinder team productivity.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage project documentation and workflows.
• Support the team in maintaining high-quality standards in software development and delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
• Experience in the mortgage industry or financial services is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams through change and foster a culture of accountability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mortgage origination systems like Encompass or Floify.
• Familiarity with loan program guidelines and mortgage regulations.
• Background in business analysis or technical support.
