We are seeking a Remote Full Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Cala Health. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing our cutting-edge technology aimed at alleviating chronic diseases. Our flagship product, Cala kIQ, represents the pinnacle of non-invasive therapy for hand tremors, and we are excited to expand our offerings across various medical fields.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces that enhance the patient experience.
  • Develop robust backend services that support our medical applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Bridge the gap between backend logic and frontend design, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
  • Proficient in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or Ruby).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and database management (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the health tech industry or familiarity with medical software.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
