About the Role

We are seeking a Remote English Transcriber to join our team at DataForce by TransPerfect. In this role, you will listen to audio files and edit previously transcribed text files, ensuring that they adhere to strict formatting guidelines. What You'll Do

• Listen to audio files and accurately transcribe them into written text.
• Edit and format previously transcribed text files according to provided guidelines.
• Demonstrate idiomatic fluency in English (United States) while transcribing.
• Maintain attention to detail and follow project-specific instructions.
• Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and team members.
• Handle up to 10 hours of work per week, with project durations of 1.5-2 weeks.

Requirements

• Excellent listening and writing skills in English (US).
• Typing proficiency with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Prior experience transcribing audio data is desired but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow guidelines.
