About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Engineering Manager to lead our Data and Analytics Platform teams at GoCardless. In this role, you will be responsible for building and operating the foundational data infrastructure that powers decision-making across GoCardless. As a Remote Engineering Manager, you will develop a high-performing team of data engineers, ensuring that our data solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, specifically in data and analytics.
• Strong understanding of data infrastructure, data warehousing, and analytics tools.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering successful projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and open banking is advantageous.
