Lead Product Designer - Applied AI (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Product Designer to join our team in the exciting field of Applied AI. This is a fully remote position where you will have the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world. As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping user-centered solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in UX/UI design and your proficiency in tools such as Figma and React will be essential in driving the design strategy for our innovative products.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process for AI-driven products, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and strategy.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellence within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and product design.
• Utilize data literacy to inform design decisions and improve user engagement.
• Contribute to the development of design systems and guidelines that enhance consistency across products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on AI applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with front-end technologies like React and TypeScript is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation systems and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Python or Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge of conversational interfaces and interaction design.
