Remote Automation Test Engineer - Paradox

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Paradox. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Remote Automation Test Engineer, you will work closely with developers and product managers to identify testing requirements and create robust test plans.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to continuously improve testing processes.
• Utilize version control systems like Git to manage test scripts and documentation.
• Provide feedback on software usability and functionality to enhance the user experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Robot Framework, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing best practices.
• Familiarity with SQL for database testing and validation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and its testing capabilities.
