About the Role

Fanatee is seeking a detail-oriented and culturally fluent Regional Editor – Australian English (Freelance/Part-Time) - Remote to refine and localize content for the Australian market. This remote position offers flexibility with approximately 20–40 hours of work per month. As a Regional Editor, you will focus on ensuring that in-game content resonates with Australian players, reflecting the nuances of Australian English and culture.

What You'll Do

• Refine and localize in-game content for Australian players, ensuring cultural relevance and clarity.
• Review puzzles and game cycles for relevance and clarity, enhancing the player experience.
• Curate culturally relevant quotes for in-game features, adding depth and engagement.
• Provide constructive feedback to the content team to improve editorial standards.
• Collaborate with a dynamic content team, contributing to a collaborative and creative environment.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Australian English is essential for this role.
• Prior experience in content editing or localization is a plus.
• Familiarity with Australian culture, idioms, and slang is highly desirable.
• Strong command of grammar and spelling.
• A degree in Communications, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Passion for word games and cultural storytelling.
