About the Role

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist - Relief. This on-call position provides coverage when needed at locations including Sunnyside, Yakima, and Toppenish. As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play a vital role in our healthcare organization, which is dedicated to making a difference beyond medical care. Our clinics operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays and holidays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Friday and Saturday availability is required.

What You'll Do

  • Verify current patient data and/or enter new patient data.
  • Greet patients and prepare them for x-rays.
  • Take x-rays and review results to ensure accurate images are achieved.
  • Process the scans and upload pictures to the patient file.
  • Notify the provider that the scans are ready.
  • Send scans to the Radiologist for review as needed.
  • Process insurance and billing paperwork for patient x-rays.
  • Order and stock supplies needed for x-rays.
  • Follow x-ray safety protocols.
  • Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.

Requirements

  • Completion of a 2-year approved radiology training program upon employment.
  • Completion of an electrocardiogram (EKG) training program within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate Degree in Radiological Sciences preferred.
  • One year's experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Registered as a Technologist in Washington state.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer relations skills, including the ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
