QHSE Assistant - Remote Internship Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated QHSE Assistant to join our team at ArcelorMittal France. This remote internship opportunity will allow you to gain hands-on experience in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) practices within an innovative industrial environment. As a QHSE Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our central maintenance team and will have a direct impact on our operational practices.

What You'll Do

• Analyze risks and contribute to the improvement of safety practices.
• Conduct field audits to ensure compliance with QHSE standards.
• Participate in the development of emergency plans for safety and environmental management.
• Analyze incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of safety and sustainability.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to safety and quality.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a QHSE role or internship.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of incident analysis techniques.
