Senior Project Architect I - Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Project Architect I - Remote to join our innovative team at CannonDesign. As a Senior Project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and quality oversight of technical documentation for large, complex projects. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the USA while contributing to impactful architectural solutions that enhance well-being and productivity.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and assembly of project documentation, ensuring compliance and quality oversight.
• Manage integrated quality review processes across all project disciplines.
• Coordinate with project and firm-wide leaders to monitor project status and identify potential risks.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous quality engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in risk assessment processes and proactively address project-related issues.
• Guide project teams in developing Project Quality Plans and monitor overall project metrics.
• Engage in business development activities and collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Write technical articles for both internal and external publications to share knowledge and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in architecture is essential.
• Experience leading technical aspects of large, complex projects.
• Current Architectural Registration in the United States is required.
• LEED accreditation is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and technical leadership skills are necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, and construction management software is a must.
