Math Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Remote Education Role

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Math Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team remotely. As a Math SME, you will play a crucial role in transforming K-12 education by developing engaging and interactive learning experiences. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to high-quality educational content that inspires curiosity and promotes deep learning among students.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate existing math curriculum materials to ensure alignment with industry best practices and common core math standards.
• Create detailed lesson outlines and materials, including vocabulary, warm-ups, direct instruction, example problem sets, and word problems.
• Provide feedback and insights to our script writers on how to present math topics at the appropriate level for lower elementary students.
• Collaborate closely with our curriculum development team to create engaging games and online experiences that reinforce math content.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to share your expertise on age-appropriate math education.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the project manager and other team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Current or former math educator with experience in curriculum development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with K-2 math standards and best practices in education.
• Ability to create engaging and educational content that meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Experience working in a remote environment and collaborating with teams across different locations.
