QA Analyst - Cybersecurity Adventure

What You'll Do

• Advocate for high standards for the tools that developers and designers use at Hack The Box.
• Set testing requirements with product owners and engineers, holding them accountable to their commitments.
• Focus on the Enterprise Platform, ensuring quality for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and universities.
• Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
• Design, implement, and maintain manual testing plans and test cases for products and features.
• Generate reports and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from tests.
• Track defect resolution progress and perform retesting to ensure issues are resolved.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA/manual testing.
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High regard for safety standards and quality control.
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Ability to write clear and structured bug reports and test documentation.
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to validate data using SQL queries.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cucumber, GIT, SQL, DBeaver, Postman, Testrail, Jira, Browser DevTools, and VSCode.
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
