Project Manager - Contract for DeFi Innovations

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager - Contract to join our dynamic team at Re7 Capital, a leading crypto-asset investment firm based in London. This Project Manager remote position is crucial for driving the delivery of key initiatives across our business, particularly focusing on flagship programs and high-priority projects. You will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to institutional standards.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of a key strategic project, from detailed planning and structuring to launch.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and execution frameworks, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, proactively identifying blockers and driving resolution to keep delivery on schedule.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, including potential vault launches, DeFi integrations, governance upgrades, and other initiatives.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear project plans, timelines, and execution roadmaps.
• Act as the central coordination point across cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate clear communication, alignment, and accountability across workstreams.
• Continuously improve project workflows, documentation, and delivery processes to support scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a project management or similar position within TradFi, DeFi, or crypto.
• Strong experience delivering complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong working understanding of blockchain infrastructure and on-chain lending, borrowing, or liquid staking.
• Passionate about blockchain and the evolving landscape of on-chain financial innovation.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Clear, concise communicator able to explain complex concepts with ease.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience operating in a regulated financial environment.
• Strong grasp of risk management principles, particularly in financial or crypto-native environments.
• Familiarity with DeFi innovations and regulatory developments.
