About the Role

The Project Management Office Intern role at Energy Solutions offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within the climate mitigation industry. As a Project Management Office Intern, you will work remotely and contribute to impactful projects that aim to address climate change.

What You'll Do

• Utilize project management tools like Monday.com to assist in project tracking and management.
• Analyze data and create visuals for broad audiences to communicate project progress and outcomes.
• Develop a Performance Metrics Dashboard for PMO KPIs to enhance project visibility and accountability.
• Create templates for a PMO Resource Library that will serve as a valuable asset for future projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with department staff to ensure alignment and support for project goals.
• Gain insight into project management fundamentals that will be beneficial for your future career.
• Your work will contribute to the PMO's 2027 plan, making a real impact in the climate solutions sector.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
• Available to work between May and August 2026.
• Demonstrated interest in Project Management within the climate mitigation industry.
• Intermediate Excel skills are required for data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Experience in data gathering and tracking is preferred.
• Currently enrolled as a second to fourth-year undergraduate or in a graduate program.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in project management or related fields.
• Familiarity with additional project management tools.
