General Manager - Remote Opportunity in Germany

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our new branch in Germany. This General Manager (GM) will be responsible for building Dandy Germany from the ground up. As a General Manager, you will create localized market analyses, set up our operational processes in Germany, and develop the business strategy to ensure a successful market entry and sustainable growth. This is a unique opportunity to join Dandy, a company transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $200B.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive market entry strategy for Dandy Germany.
• Build and maintain an initial customer base.
• Develop and manage the business plan for Germany, including budget, revenue targets, and operational KPIs.
• Create and implement localized marketing and sales strategies.
• Report on market performance and opportunities to the global corporate management.
• Establish key business relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders in the German market.
• Represent the company to German government officials, industry associations, and business networks.
• Ensure compliance with all German federal and state regulations in collaboration with the legal department.
• Take on ad-hoc tasks as needed to successfully establish Dandy Germany.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently.
• Resilience and adaptability in dealing with ambiguity and change.
• Results-oriented with a high degree of accountability.
• Proven track record in launching or scaling business areas.
• In-depth understanding of Dandy’s business models and operational processes (end-to-end).
• Understanding of the German business environment, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in business development, sales leadership, and P&L management.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
