Project Engineer - Site-Based Role (Relocation Offered)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer (Site-Based) to join our team at UHP Technologies. This role involves executing core engineering projects across India, typically lasting between 4 to 12 months. As a Project Engineer, you will be the on-site lead, responsible for end-to-end project execution and coordination. This is a mobile, site-based role requiring relocation from one customer site to another as projects progress.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and coordinate project schedules, resource plans, equipment needs, and material requirements with Project Engineers/Project In-charges.
• Organize, attend, and participate in internal stakeholder meetings; document and follow up on key actions and decisions.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the assigned project, ensuring clear, timely, and assertive communication with the Head – Projects and Management.
• Define project scope and independently prepare the Master Task Sheet (MTS) based on available resources and timelines.
• Estimate project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines; proactively resolve issues to avoid unsafe practices, delays, or quality deviations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC standards, performance specifications, and documentation requirements.
• Interact with customers as needed to address technical or commercial queries related to the assigned project.
• Oversee quality control for budgets, schedules, project plans, and overall performance; provide regular updates to the Head – Projects.

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Implementation / Site Engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management tools.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and detailed action plans.
• Strong decision-making capability, leadership qualities, and ownership mindset.
• Willingness to travel across India (and abroad, if required) on short notice.
• Ability to stay on-site for extended project durations (4–12 months).
