Project Engineer - Remote Internship Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer Intern to join our team at Assystem. This remote internship opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in the nuclear engineering sector while working alongside experienced professionals. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the Project Manager and various engineers in system engineering activities, contributing to complex infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Assist in managing configuration based on product hierarchy.
• Implement and monitor the process for managing changes.
• Ensure compliance with requirements and maintain document traceability.
• Coordinate interfaces between different study/work packages (civil engineering, mechanics, electricity, ventilation, etc.) and participate in drafting interface sheets.
• Analyze study documents from contractors regarding interfaces and compliance with specifications.
• Establish and track progress indicators necessary for technical coordination.
• Participate in analyzing technical issues encountered on the project and propose solutions collaboratively.
• Report to the Project Management team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bac+4 to Bac+5 in General Engineering with a focus on System Engineering.
• Interest in working within the nuclear context.
• Curiosity, good interpersonal skills, synthesis mindset, autonomy, innovative spirit, and a strong inclination towards methodology definition.

Nice to Have

• Experience with specific software tools (e.g., Doors, Capella).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Participation in client meetings.
