About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Product Design Engineer - New Grad Remote to join our Early Career program at Western Digital. What You'll Do
- Perform yield management and improvement activities related to manufacturing using engineering approaches to effectively respond to work requests in terms of productivity, quality, yield, and cost.
- Establish appropriate performance reports to monitor manufacturing yield and processes.
- Supervise Senior Technicians and Technicians to accomplish tasks in the most effective way.
- Engage in problem-solving and process monitoring to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Participate in related work as assigned to support team objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and basic coding.
- AI capability in innovation concepts, coding, tools, and applications.
