Principal Product Designer - Innovation for Web3

About the Role

We’re seeking a Principal Product Designer - Innovation remote to join the Crypto.com Innovation Lab. This is a unique opportunity to design and build new ideas, features, and products that will enhance our services and potentially break new ground in various industries. As a Principal Product Designer, you will create simple prototypes that evolve into comprehensive end-to-end experiences, showcasing your product thinking and high-fidelity design execution.

What You'll Do

• Define new product ideas that align with Crypto.com’s vision.
• Conceptualize innovative products and features, guiding them through to release.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior management to generate product ideas and define the user experience and design.
• Rapidly develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to demonstrate interaction and design ideas.
• Refine concepts into fully fleshed-out experiences that resonate with users.
• Define identity elements such as brand marks and design system styling.
• Conduct market research and present findings to stakeholders.
• Plan and facilitate user research activities, including interviews and usability tests.
• Present and pitch concepts to the leadership team, incorporating feedback into new design directions.
• Work closely with developers to implement designs effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product designer on digital products.
• Fluent in Figma, including components, variables, and styles.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and UX principles.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and articulate design decisions clearly.
• Experience in conducting various research approaches and utilizing data to guide product direction.
• Solid leadership skills and the ability to develop strong partnerships with product managers and engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a design agency, building 0-1 end-to-end products.
• Knowledge of wider design tools and code, such as C4D and AE.
• Familiarity with designing web landing pages and understanding the unique constraints of the web.
