Trade Marketing Lead - Benelux (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Trade Marketing Lead to join Zespri, the world's largest marketer of kiwifruit, in a remote capacity. As a Trade Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth in the Benelux region through deep insights into shopper behavior and channel dynamics. This role is pivotal in executing integrated trade marketing strategies that translate brand priorities into impactful in-store programs.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute trade marketing strategies that align with Zespri's brand vision.
• Collaborate with local Sales & Marketing teams to enhance market strategies and commercial planning.
• Analyze shopper and category data to generate actionable insights that drive sales growth.
• Manage relationships with retailers and distributors to optimize engagement models.
• Lead the execution of marketing campaigns and monitor their effectiveness across channels.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Trade Marketing, preferably in FMCG or fresh produce sectors.
• Proven understanding of the Belgian and Dutch retail markets.
• Fluency in English and Dutch; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentation preparation.

Nice to Have

• Experience in budget management and customer investment planning.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of leading seasonal or campaign-based planning.
• Knowledge of customer contracts and terms of sale governance.
