About the Role
We're hiring a Sales Director - Enterprise to join our dynamic team at dbt Labs. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for growing and managing our enterprise customer base, driving significant revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This Sales Director remote position offers the opportunity to work with a pioneering analytics engineering company that empowers data teams worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Build, manage, and close your own pipeline of companies that will benefit from the dbt Cloud offering.
- Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts, optimizing our impact on these companies.
- Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to enhance our reach in the region.
- Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process.
- Collaborate with product teams to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
Requirements
- 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
- Demonstrable ability to build and close your own pipeline within enterprise accounts.
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of an analytics organization.
- Strong organizational skills to navigate long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams.
- A passion for being an inclusive teammate and an involved member of the community.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced software.
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
