As a Principal Back-end Developer, you will play a crucial role in building an online testing platform for medical schools, ensuring high performance and scalability.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS technologies, including AWS Lambda and AWS API Gateway.
• Develop and deploy serverless APIs, ensuring robust integration with AWS services.
• Utilize AWS databases such as Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon RDS for efficient data management.
• Implement event-driven architectures and design patterns to enhance application performance.
• Monitor and debug serverless applications using tools like AWS X-Ray and AWS CloudTrail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance in serverless applications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers in best practices for serverless development.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in AWS serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS SDKs for Python and the boto3 library.
• Familiarity with serverless data processing tools like AWS Glue or AWS Athena.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps tools for serverless applications.
• Availability to work between 8 AM and 3 PM EST.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or AWS SAM.
• Familiarity with serverless monitoring and debugging tools.
• Understanding of security and compliance considerations for serverless applications.
