Pre-Sales Engineer - Remote Opportunity at Promethean

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team at Promethean. This remote Pre-Sales Engineer position involves both pre- and after-sales responsibilities, providing you with the opportunity to significantly impact our sales process and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Area Manager Sales, leveraging your technical expertise to support the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle.

What You'll Do

• Provide pre-sales technical support for Promethean's hardware and software solutions, both remotely and in the field.
• Assist in key tender preparation and processes, ensuring that our solutions meet customer requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for technical product inquiries from key customers and partners.
• Deliver technical training for installation and maintenance of Promethean products to end customers, partners, and colleagues.
• Document product enhancements and bugs in the internal portal, Promethean Backstage, and support the Promethean Support and Escalations Team.
• Maintain and install Promethean's internal hardware and software products in the office and in flight cases.
• Develop audio-visual training materials for partners and end customers in the German-speaking market.
• Conduct general installation and training on IT equipment for new hires based on Promethean standards.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Promethean hardware and software solutions.
• Technical background in IT or support, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English and excellent German language skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
