Pharmacy Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to offer a Pharmacy Intern - Remote position at Wellpartner. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow professionally while supporting pharmacy teams and enhancing patient care. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy practices and contribute to a safe and inclusive team environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist pharmacy teams with daily operations and patient interactions.
• Engage with patients to provide empathetic service and support.
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap tailored to your development.
• Learn to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance.
• Participate in inventory management activities to maintain stock levels.
• Support immunization services where permitted and applicable.
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills in various situations.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Accepted into an ACPE accredited pharmacy program.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure in progress.
• Ability to complete training within the designated timeframe.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical reasoning for prescription fulfillment and problem resolution skills for patient interactions.
• Ability to lift and move items as required.
• Flexibility to work in different locations as needed.
• Compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
• Basic understanding of medication management and patient care.
