About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Payment Poster II to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the revenue cycle management process, ensuring accurate payment posting and reconciliation. As a Payment Poster II, you will work with various healthcare billing systems and contribute to the efficiency of our operations.
What You'll Do
- Accurately post payments to patient accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Utilize EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite to manage and analyze data.
- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve payment issues and improve processes.
- Interpret EOBs and apply appropriate CPT/HCPCS codes for billing accuracy.
- Provide support and training to junior staff members in payment posting procedures.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in payment posting or related roles.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS codes, and revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience with EHR systems, particularly ECW.
- Knowledge of dental billing practices.
- Previous mentoring or training experience.
