About the Role
We are excited to announce a PhD scholarship in Molecular Thermodynamics for CO2 Storage Simulations at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). What You'll Do
- Develop a predictive and robust thermodynamic framework for CO2 storage simulations.
- Evaluate molecular thermodynamic theories and integrate them into a unified platform.
- Optimize computational robustness and efficiency for real-time CO2 storage process simulations.
- Conduct research on multiphase weak electrolyte systems relevant to CO2 storage.
- Collaborate with a team of renowned scientists and young talents in the field.
Requirements
- A relevant education in chemical engineering, chemistry, applied physics, or a similar field.
- A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of chemical thermodynamics and physics of mixtures.
- Strong mathematical and physical modeling skills.
- Excellent soft skills including teamwork, reporting, and presentation abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in scientific computing and simulation software.
- Familiarity with CO2 storage processes and thermodynamic modeling.
