What You'll Do

  • Develop a predictive and robust thermodynamic framework for CO2 storage simulations.
  • Evaluate molecular thermodynamic theories and integrate them into a unified platform.
  • Optimize computational robustness and efficiency for real-time CO2 storage process simulations.
  • Conduct research on multiphase weak electrolyte systems relevant to CO2 storage.
  • Collaborate with a team of renowned scientists and young talents in the field.

Requirements

  • A relevant education in chemical engineering, chemistry, applied physics, or a similar field.
  • A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of chemical thermodynamics and physics of mixtures.
  • Strong mathematical and physical modeling skills.
  • Excellent soft skills including teamwork, reporting, and presentation abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in scientific computing and simulation software.
  • Familiarity with CO2 storage processes and thermodynamic modeling.
  • Previous research experience in a related field.
