About the Role

Transport Scotland is seeking an Operator Account Manager - Remote to join our team. What You'll Do

• Account manage operators, ensuring timely and accurate payments for their participation in schemes and grants.
• Lead a team of three, overseeing audit checks and data recording related to operator payments.
• Escalate non-compliance issues and participate in operator audits and investigations.
• Provide strategic direction aligned with business needs, accepting responsibility for delegated tasks.
• Collaborate with the Schemes and Payments team to improve processes and ensure compliance with operational policies.
• Proactively manage operational performance and set appropriate reporting structures.
• Report risks and control issues promptly to maintain operational compliance.
• Take on additional duties as required within the unit.

Requirements

• Proven experience in account management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in compliance and operational performance management.
• Ability to analyze data and implement improvements.
