Outbound Personal Shopper - Remote Position at FreshDirect

About the Role

We are seeking an Outbound Personal Shopper to join our team at FreshDirect. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive their grocery items accurately and efficiently. As an Outbound Personal Shopper, you will work remotely, packing grocery items and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled correctly. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Receive picked orders and ensure that all items are accounted for.
  • Pack grocery items and other goods, ensuring fragile items are protected.
  • Process orders by picking, scanning, and packing items for delivery.
  • Perform replenishment processes and transfer finished products around the warehouse.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on raw and finished materials.
  • Maintain excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse.
  • Assist in housekeeping duties and operate equipment during the order picking process.
  • Ensure that all items are scanned into the computer system at the end of the picking process.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs intermittently during a typical work shift.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet production and accuracy standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.

  • Experience as a cashier at a grocery store.
  • Familiarity with grocery packing and fulfillment processes.
