Night Shift Service Advisor - Automotive Industry

About the Role

We're hiring a Night Shift Service Advisor to join our team at Sunset Ford. This Night Shift Service Advisor position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your hard work and expertise will be rewarded. The shift hours are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM Midnight, providing a great work-life balance for those who prefer evening hours.

What You'll Do

  • Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries regarding their vehicles.
  • Consult with customers on applicable service specials and present service menus.
  • Document services declined and follow up with customers on future service considerations.
  • Keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
  • Create and present repair estimates, dictating immediately needed services and future needed services.
  • Remain involved with the delivery of the vehicle to the customer upon completion to ensure all customer concerns are addressed.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure a positive service experience.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to enhance their experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in the automotive industry is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Able to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and typing skills.
  • Organized and enjoys talking to people.
  • Customer handling skills and technology/Bluetooth phone savvy.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a dealership environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and service processes.
  • Certifications related to automotive service.
