Strategic Project Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager to join our team at Lotus Bakeries. This remote Strategic Project Manager position focuses on successfully coordinating and executing strategically important investment projects at our production plant in Eeklo, Belgium. You will play a crucial role in managing replacement investments, automation projects, process optimizations, and the introduction of new projects.

What You'll Do

• Define project objectives and scope in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Translate objectives into detailed plans and budgets, leading projects from execution to handover.
• Coordinate various multifunctional project teams and collaborate with external partners.
• Regularly report and present project statuses, discussing key milestones with management and senior executives.
• Optimize project management workflows and processes.
• Address customer inquiries from our Private Label partnerships regarding the impact of changes on existing products or the launch of new products.
• Formulate responses to customer inquiries and coordinate the concrete projects that arise from them.
• Be an integral part of the plant management team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

Requirements

• Master's degree and project management certifications are a plus.
• 5-10 years of experience as a project manager with large-scale projects.
• Excellent project management skills (Prince2, PMBOK, etc.).
• Outstanding communication skills to build sustainable relationships and report at a high level.
• Technical interest and/or affinity for successfully completing large industrial projects.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

• Experience in the food industry.
• Knowledge of automation technologies.
• Familiarity with process optimization techniques.
