Mobile App Developer (iOS and Android) - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mobile App Developer (iOS and Android) remote to join our innovative team at IStories Media. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remote while contributing to impactful journalism through mobile technology.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
• Debug memory leaks and optimize code for performance and efficiency.
• Implement automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to integrate multimedia content into the app.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in native iOS and Android development.
• Strong proficiency in React Native and Expo.
• Experience with TypeScript and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with video and audio player integration is a plus.
