About the Role

Are you a Mid-Senior UX Designer with a passion for mobile games? Gear Games is looking for a talented individual to join our team. This Mid-Senior UX Designer role offers the chance to create world-class mobile game experiences while working remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Create and enforce comprehensive UX guidelines and detailed screen flows for our established, top-grossing games and new features.
  • Champion UX solutions by presenting and defending high-fidelity interactive prototypes during high-impact weekly syncs with stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent, high-fidelity UX documentation system and style guide across the project.
  • Proactively partner with Game Designers, Artists, and Engineers to ensure seamless UX solutions integration throughout the production pipeline.
  • Act as a catalyst by inspiring passion and mentoring the team in best-in-class user-centric design practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Game UX Design, ideally for mobile.
  • Expertise in industry-standard prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
  • Deep knowledge of UX, Interaction, and Visual Design principles.
  • Flawless professional oral and written English communication is mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Passionate player and critical observer of best practices in the mobile games industry.
  • Knowledge or experience with Card Battle/Strategy games (Hearthstone, Marvel Snap, etc.).
  • Demonstrated extreme proactivity and strong complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor or guide less experienced Junior UX designers.
  • Exceptional ability to document and present/defend design solutions clearly.
