Mid-Senior UI/​UX Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer remote to join our team at Jobgether. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the design of innovative software products that prioritize user experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to gather user requirements and translate them into engaging user interfaces. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing client satisfaction and expanding our user base.

What You'll Do

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate functionality.
• Create original graphic designs, including images and sketches.
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems based on user feedback.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Design, Interaction, Graphic, or Interface Design.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• 5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, User Experience Designer, or similar role.
• Experience with multi-device design and responsive design.
• Well-versed in visual design fundamentals, typography, color theory, brand communication, and UI principles.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and designs.

• Experience with user testing and research methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards in design.
