About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-Senior Flight Test Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. This Flight Test Engineer remote position is crucial for supporting the successful completion of test events and analyzing test data. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the integration, verification, and validation of our defense systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance.

What You'll Do

  • Support the build of developmental test missiles and assist the Development Flight Test Lead.
  • Manage the build of flight and field test missiles, coordinating with the USG customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Document pedigree, analyze test results, and generate missile build plans and configuration definitions.
  • Conduct integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure systems perform according to specifications.
  • Travel approximately 25% to support field test events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Math) and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in hardware systems integration, platform integration, and/or flight testing.
  • Proficient in Verification and Validation methods.
  • Experience supporting field tests or systems deployed in the field.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the Tomahawk system and missile build process.
  • Experience with PRISM and telemetry data analysis tools.
  • Technical experience with military platforms (Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Ground Based, and ship-based).
