Territory Sales Manager - Remote Position for Continental
About the Role
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager - Remote to join Continental, a leading technology company specializing in sustainable and connected mobility solutions. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business and increasing market share in Texas, utilizing our Authorized Distributor Network in the industrial sector.
What You'll Do
- Identify and cultivate new business partnerships to expand market presence.
- Promote and sell engineered products and services to clients.
- Train distributors and end-users on product features and benefits.
- Develop a plan to meet with customers regularly to foster relationships.
- Participate in industry trade shows to showcase our offerings.
- Utilize business and information technology tools for effective territory management.
- Inspect equipment and provide value-added solutions to clients.
- Leverage Salesforce.com and other data tools for sales tracking and reporting.
- Travel 50% of the time, including overnight stays, to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2 years of relevant sales experience or 4 years in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills and experience with customer meetings.
- Ability to train customers and end-users effectively.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must reside within Houston, TX.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
- Knowledge of the industrial sector and its trends.
- Strong networking abilities to build relationships within the industry.
