Procurement Officer - Remote Opportunity in Pharma

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team at UNI-PHARMA, a leading pharmaceutical company with over 62 years of experience. This Procurement Officer remote position will allow you to manage and coordinate the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely availability and cost efficiency while complying with company procedures and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and coordinate the evaluation of offers from approved suppliers.
• Collect, record, and analyze data related to purchase orders for materials, consumables, equipment, and related services.
• Monitor the smooth execution of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, specifications, and contractual terms.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Production, Planning, and Operations to ensure timely supply of required materials and services.
• Identify, record, and report delays, cancellations, or non-deliveries, proposing corrective actions where required.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to procurement activities and participate in the review and continuous improvement of purchasing procedures.
• Manage and maintain the approved suppliers list, ensuring purchases are made exclusively from approved vendors.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual budget by estimating and monitoring purchasing costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of procurement experience, preferably within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with MS Office & ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems, or controlled procurement procedures.
• Experience in negotiations with suppliers.

• Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
