Mid-level Site Reliability Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

Linus Health is seeking a talented Mid-level Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming brain health worldwide through innovative technology. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge tools and practices to enhance system reliability and performance.

What You'll Do

• Leverage infrastructure as code (Terraform) to build and maintain complex production and analytics workflows, including networking and containerized services.
• Rapidly diagnose and resolve faults in system services as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation, focusing on actionable alerting and eliminating toil.
• Improve speed of delivery by developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop infrastructure automation leveraging Terraform, Python, and Typescript.
• Enhance system availability, security, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
• Estimate work, prioritize tasks, track dependencies, report progress, and highlight blockers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, advocate for SRE best practices, and stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of services.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Typescript.
• Familiarity with cloud services and container orchestration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Must be based in the US; sponsorship is not available.
