What You'll Do

• Assist customers in selecting the right products for their projects, ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain product organization and cleanliness in your department.
• Manage customer orders, product inventory, and promotional displays effectively.
• Provide expert advice based on your knowledge of DIY and home improvement.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A completed commercial training, such as a Salesperson or Retail Merchant qualification, or a suitable craft training background.
• Experience in sales or the DIY industry is advantageous.
• Strong product knowledge in the home improvement sector to provide competent customer advice.
• Exceptional service orientation, communication skills, friendliness, teamwork, and helpfulness.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
