Mid-Level Full Stack PHP Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Full Stack PHP Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Full Stack PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in building high-quality digital products while collaborating with a delivery-focused team. This position allows you to work from the comfort of your home in Johannesburg, South Africa, with occasional travel to the UK and client sites as required.

What You'll Do

• Write clean, efficient, and testable PHP and JavaScript code.
• Build and maintain applications using Laravel and Vue.js.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Collaborate in peer reviews and agile sprint cycles to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Manage workload effectively and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to documentation and best-practice development processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficient in PHP (Laravel), Vue.js, RESTful APIs, MySQL, and PestPHP.
• Experience with version control tools, particularly GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong time-management and delivery focus.
