About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team at LivePerson. This Cloud DevOps Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to our award-winning Conversational Cloud platform.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and Bash to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create automation strategies, and deploy efficient solutions.
• Utilize cloud technologies and services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
• Continuously expand your area of expertise and take ownership of your work, contributing to a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Proven experience of 4 years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
